Ann Therese Hendricks | Feb 17, 2012, 1:34 p.m.
The Tonawanda Rite Aid at 2330 Niagara Falls Boulevard is recently remodeled, and to show off the new digs, free health screenings, beauty demos and product samples will be offered from noon to 4 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday, February 18).
Visitors can receive free screenings for cholesterol, blood glucose, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and memory impairment, along with free body mass index (BMI) readings, blood pressure readings and diabetes risk assessments. Beauty experts will demonstrate cosmetic and nail makeovers, and guests can sample organic, gluten-free or natural food products and pick up other product samples and coupons.
Rite Aid “Wellness Ambassadors” will also be on hand to provide interactive product demos on iPads.
