Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles Shea’s Performing Arts Center

This month, Shea’s Smith Theatre continues its presentation of You Say Tomato, I Say Shut Up. The comedy examines how two opposing personalities make a marriage work.

Writer-actors-and real life married couple Annabelle Gurwitch and Jeff Kahn adapted the play from their eponymous memoir with additional material by award-winning playwright David Koteles.

Starring Scott Richard Foster and Antoinette LaVeccia, You Say Tomato, I Say Shut Up runs through February 12. (800-745-3000.)

On the Shea’s Mainstage, the popular Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles returns for five shows. The live concert covers the full range of the Fab Four’s repertoire with a painstaking recreation of “every song, gesture and nuance” of the Beatles’ performance style.

Accomplished musicians in their own right, the Rain band members actually present some of most complex and challenging songs that the Beatles recorded in the studio but never performed for an audience. Fresh from Broadway, Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles runs February 17 to 19. (800-745-3000.)
