Dear Readers,

October means many things — Halloween, cooler weather, and, of course, Forever Young’s annual Fall Health and Living Expo.

The Expo is scheduled for October 21 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Classics V Banquet Center, 2425 Niagara Falls Boulevard in Amherst.

Regular Forever Young readers and Expo attendees know what to expect — free health screenings, product giveaways, a variety of local vendors, free parking. But we always find new ways to make things even more informative and fun. And as always, thanks to all of those who make the event a success.

This month’s online features focus on the “World on Your Plate” conference at Daemen College (Oct. 9–10; www.worldonyourplate.org), an auction of the collection of Charles Rand Penney (Oct. 4; www.20thcenturyfinest.com) and a preview of the Babel series, which starts Oct. 9 (www.justbuffalo.org).
