The Paintings of Sheldon Berlyn
Artist Sheldon Berlyn’s career has been one of Western New York’s most accomplished, and to celebrate his achievements, Sheldon Berlyn: Works on Paper 1960s, 70s & 80s will be presented starting November 12 at 20th Century Finest’s gallery, located within Michael Donnelly Interior Design in Buffalo. The exhibition and sale features a selection of paintings spanning three decades.
It runs through January 3, with an opening reception on November 12.

Rockettes Return
Audiences asked for it, and Shea’s has responded the Rockettes are back in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular throughout November. The show has thrilled for 75 years, and is a holiday must-see.

Celebrating the Burchfield
The opening of the new Burchfield-Penney Art Center at Buffalo State College is a momentous event, and to celebrate, a 32-hour non-stop celebration will be held featuring music, exhibitions and more. It also offers an opportunity at viewing the gorgeous $33-million gallery in person.

Thanksgiving Run
The YMCA Turkey Trot is one of Buffalo’s longest-running traditions it’s been held since 1896 and is the way a great many Western New Yorkers, young and old, start their Thanksgiving morning. Kicking off at 9 a.m., the race is followed by a post-race celebration and awards. Registration is available online and at local YMCA branches, Wegmans locations and Dick’s Sporting Goods.
