To me, December means cookies. Cookie exchanges to attend, gifts of cookies to give and of course, many cookies to be eaten. Last year, my friend Betty had a holiday cookie exchange at her home. During the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, what a great way to connect with new friends and old and share the sweet gift of something made from the heart. We had so much fun decorating our own packages to share and so much fun diving into the packages that we took home to eat. This year, why not plan an exchange of your own. Here are two of my favorite cookie recipes to get you started. Happy holidays and a sweet New Year!
