New Date for Go Red Luncheon
In light of Buffalo’s October Surprise storm, The American Heart Association Go Red for Women Luncheon has been rescheduled for November 2 at Kleinhans Music Hall’s Mary Seaton Room from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event raises funds for the research and education necessary to increase awareness of the risks and prevention of heart disease and stroke. Featured will be a fashion show with, among others, Baby Joe Mesi on the runway.

Grammy Winning Artist Kathy Mattea
The Performing Arts Center at Rockwell Hall presents country superstar Kathy Mattea on Friday, November 3 at 8 p.m. This concert is part of the Performing Arts Center’s Great Performers Series, presented by M&T Bank. Discounts are offered for seniors and students. The Rockwell Hall box office hours are Monday to Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Tickets: $30 General; $27 Seniors; $15 Student Rush

Festival of Wreaths
November 29

A Festival of Wreaths
On November 29 over 100 wreaths, decorated by Western New York artists, craftspeople and area personalities will be auctioned and raffled at a Champagne Reception at Trinity Church, 371 Delaware Ave., 5:30– 7 p.m. Proceeds from the sale of the beautifully crafted wreaths, decorated in a variety of styles and themes, will support the preservation and maintenance of this historic church and its internationally-acclaimed stained glass windows.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the door. Ticket price includes 20 raffle tickets. Many of the wreaths will be on display at the church and on its website this month.
