A Seasoned Chef

It is that time of year again! When the apples and pears abound, I can’t wait to visit the farm stands and I usually bring home more than my family can ever consume. It makes it necessary for me to come up with new and different recipes in which to use this wonderful bounty. Here are a couple of my fall favorites — apple crostata with a crumb topping and pear crostata with honey, blue cheese and hazelnut topping. I hope that you will try them and enjoy them too!
