Senior Services at the Fair
Erie County Senior Services is always well-represented at America’s Fair, and this year is no exception. Senior Services will be in the Expo Building daily from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. to answer questions about the programs they offer. Whether you need advice about long term care insurance or Medicare prescription programs, or if you think mom and dad need some help, stop in and ask. It’s free advice from professionals who know about products, programs and services that can help.
Daily
10 a.m.-3 p.m. Photo identification cards issued to Erie County residents age 62/65-plus entitles holder to discount on Metro/NFTA bus and rail routes, as well as discounts with other merchants.
Thursday 8/9
10 a.m-10 p.m. All about aging.
10 a.m.-2 p.m. Emergency preparedness and medication safety.
Friday 8/10
10 a.m.-10 p.m. All about aging.
10 a.m.-2 p.m. Nutrition for healthier living.
Saturday 8/11

While at the Fair, find out about the Erie County Department of Senior Services by visiting the Expo Hall. If you have questions or need assistance with anything regarding aging or seniors, call 858-8526 or visit www.erie.gov/depts/seniorservices.
Also, health screenings are being offered daily by the Health Department and Catholic Health Systems from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. These include free blood pressure, bone density, cholesterol, glucose, lead and colorectal cancer screenings.
