Erie County Senior Services at the Fair
One of the most popular summer events for all ages is America’s Fair (aka the Erie County Fair) and this year, Erie County Senior Services will be in the Expo Building daily from 10 a.m.10 p.m. to answer questions about services. So, if you need free advice about Long Term Care insurance or Medicare prescriptions programs, or if you think Mom and Dad need some help, just ask. Senior Services knows about products, programs and services that can help.
Daily
10 a.m. 5 p.m. Photo identification cards issued to Erie County residents age 65+ entitles holder to discounts on Metro/NFTA bus and rail routes, as well as discounts with other merchants.
Thursday 8/10
10 a.m. 2 p.m. Advance Health Care Planning: How to share your wishes regarding your health care.
6-10 p.m. Meet New People, Learn New Things, Go Exciting Places and Do Good in the Community: Find out more about the Senior & Retired Volunteer Program and 100 affiliated stations.
Fri. 8/11
10 a.m. 2 p.m. Ask a dietician about the latest in nutrition
for seniors.
Sat. 8/12
10 a.m. 6 p.m. Who’s Helping the Family Caregiver?
Senior Services knows.
Sun. 8/13
10 a.m. 2 p.m. Retired & Senior Volunteer Program: new people, new things, exciting places and doing good in the community.
2 6 p.m. Stay-At-Home-Fitness for Adults.
2 6 p.m. Insurance experts answer questions: Medicaid, Medicare, Part D, PPOs, HMOs, Long Term Care Insurance and more.
Monday 8/14
10 a.m. 10 p.m. Who’s Helping the Family Caregiver?

10 a.m. 2 p.m. EPIC: Seniors Can Save Money on Prescriptions.
Tuesday 8/15
