The New Buffalo Old Home Week
Old Home Week last took place in 1907 during Buffalo’s heyday. Now, 99 years later, this remarkable celebration of Buffalo and its many treasures is back! And registration for the event is free.
Be a part of the renaissance that is reshaping and revitalizing Buffalo. Buffalo expats, come back from across the country and throughout the suburbs to attend this extraordinary event, designed to turn Expats into Repats by giving them dozens of good reasons to move back to Western New York.
Register to attend Buffalo Old Home Week and invite every Buffalo Expat you know to register and return for a visit on August 24-27 to experience Buffalo’s renaissance. Everyone who registers will be assigned an Ambassador who will welcome them to Buffalo and make their stay pleasant and productive.
Buffalo Old Home Week will be four days full of everything that makes Buffalo one of the best places in the USA to live, work and play:

Playing

• Have fun at a genuine Buffalo Bills Tailgate Party on Saturday afternoon at the Pearl Street Grill. Head from there to the stadium for the game!
• Discover Buffalo’s Waterfront at the CPO. This is where the future of Buffalo resides. There will be speakers, displays, discussions and a BBQ on the patio of the Chief Petty Officer’s club, right on the river.
• On Saturday morning, take a ride on the Edward W. Cotter fireboat!
• Go to Gusto at the Gallery on Friday evening for a taste of Italy. (And you thought Buffalo was a gritty blue collar town.) This event is free and takes place every Friday evening.
• Wander in and out of the marvelous Elmwood Avenue Festival of the Arts, taking place all day Saturday and Sunday. This stellar event provides something for every member of the family.
• Visit Buffalo’s renowned Olmsted Parks, local treasures.
• Take a walking tour and include some of Buffalo’s “hidden treasures,” those unique, secret “only in Buffalo” places.
