We at Forever Young are once again thrilled to invite you to join us at the 2008 Health & Living Expo from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 23 at the Classics V Banquet Center, 2425 Niagara Falls Boulevard in Amherst. The free event will feature blood pressure and bone density screenings from Insight MRI and DeGraff Hospital; hearing screenings from Genesee Hearing Services; blood pressure, body mass index and risk factor screenings and surveys; ABI screenings from Buffalo General Hospital; and local vendors with different products and services. It’s all designed for those enjoying life over 50 in Western New York. Throughout the morning are fun giveaways, starting at 9 a.m., when the first 500 people through the door each will receive one New York State Lottery scratch-off ticket. At 11 a.m., the first 150 people through the door will receive one free voucher for a roast beef combo meal at Anderson’s. At noon, the first 150 people through the door will receive a $1 off coupon for a hot dog at Ted’s. And lastly, at 1 p.m., the first 150 people through the door will each receive a discount coupon for Dunkin’ Donuts. Best of all? Ted’s, Anderson’s and Dunkin’ Donuts are located down the street from the Expo. The list of exhibitors is always long and varied, featuring well-known and important people and businesses from the worlds of health and living. It’s a great way to learn more about everything that’s available to help you get the most out of life in Western New York.
