On Fire at Shea’s
One of the most spectacular dance shows in the world and sequel to the internationally acclaimed Burn the Floor, FloorPlay will light up Shea’s Performing Arts Center in May. Burn the Floor began with a spectacular ballroom dance demonstration at Elton John’s 50th Birthday Party in 1997. Producer Harley Medcalf attended the party and was mesmerized. In 1998, after a six-month workshop in London, and millions of dollars spent on costumes, set, music and lights, the show was ready for the world to see. This show features the world’s best ballroom and Latin dance couples. On stage May 18-20 with four performances. Tickest available now at all Ticketmaster at 852-5000, go to www.ticketmaster.com.
