New Orleans to Buffalo
Crooner, musician, actor and philanthropist Harry Connick, Jr. brings his show My New Orleans Tour to Buffalo’s Shea’s Performing Arts Center on April 13. Originally from New Orleans, the award-winning performer has contributed greatly to the rebuilding of his hometown after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.

St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations
The Valley Community Association’s 14th Annual “Old Neighborhood” St. Patrick’s Day Parade is set for Saturday, March 17 at noon from the Valley Community Center. The parade retraces the original 1913 parade route and winds through the historic streets of the Valley and Old First Ward neighborhoods. You can see the parade along South Park Avenue, Smith Street, Elk Street, Hamburg Street, and O’Connell Avenue. After the parade there will be the traditional grand Irish “Hooley” featuring live music by Eire Road, above, and plenty of food and drink from 1-6 p.m.

High Energy
with Rockapella
The Performing Arts Center at Rockwell Hall presents a return engagement of the contemporary a cappella group Rockapella on March 23 at 8 p.m. Originally NYC street performers the singers have created a popular and unique musical sound. “Some say the best musical instrument is the human voice and if you’ve seen Rockapella you know that’s the truth,” says USA Today.
