There's no better time than January to think about getting fit, so this month sees an article introducing an exciting new program that Forever Young is proud to be a part of: Club 99. Look for more news on the program in the near future.
I would also like to mention that our award tally has increased by three, to 44 national honors. At the 2007 North American Mature Publishers Association (NAMPA) Awards, Forever Young received the following: first place in the general excellence category, first place in briefs and shorts, and second place in the column review category for writer Elena Cala Buscarino's January 2007 piece on Marvin Hamlisch. It's always nice to be acknowledged, and these awards are a credit to everyone whose efforts make Forever Young great.
In closing, I would like to extend a personal thank you to our two editorial interns during the past few months at Buffalo Spree and Forever Young: Eliza Northwood and Courtney Pellett. Their writing and fact-checking work has been invaluable, and I cannot thank them enough.
