Return of O’Neill & Hogan
Irish Classical Theatre Company opens Harold Pinter’s first full-length comedy of menace, The Birthday Party directed
at the Andrews Theatre. The Birthday Party marking the return of the Irish Classical Theatre Company’s Co-Founder and Artistic Director Vincent O’Neill and ICTC Artist in Residence Josephine Hogan, together on the stage of the Andrews Theatre for this first time since ICTC’s 2005 production of She Stoops to Conquer by Oliver Goldsmith. They will play Goldberg and Meg, respectively. The play continues through Sunday, February 11, 2007

“A Musical Feast”
Charles Haupt and Feng Hew, associated principal cellist with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, will play Kodaly Duo for Violin and Cello, Op. 7.

Tom Kolor, cited by the New York Times as a “virtuosic percussionist, in Rebound by Xenaxis. Tony Arnold, soprano and Cheryl Gobbetti-Hoffman, flute, will join Tom Kolor in John Cage’s Music for... Tony Arnold is internationally recognized for her interpretation of the contemporary repertoire. Gobbetti-Hoffman will also play a magical piece by composer Toru Takemistu: Voice. And Charles Castleman will perform the Buffalo premiere of Violin Sonata Nr.2 (written in 1967), by Mieczyslaw Weinberg who ranks along with Prokofiev and Schostakovich as one of the great Soviet composers. The charming, poetic PRIMAVERA, Spring, by Thea Musgrave will feature Tony Arnold, voice and Cheryl Gobbetti-Hoffman, flute. Don’t miss this concert.
